Preparing Christmas and New Years activities for the kids this time of year has proven difficult for me as its our Summer Break (we usually take 2-3 weeks off), so I tend it keep it simple. We bake a lot, decorate the tree, visit family and make small gifts for family members (Great Aunts and Uncles and the Grandparents especially). It’s usually stiflingly hot during the day and raining in the late afternoon/early evening, so we spend quite a bit of time indoors.
