Hide God’s Word in your heart alongside your children using this Bible Memory Challenge.
When I was growing up, my mom always ensured we were surrounded by God’s Word.
Anytime the church doors were open, we were there.
Our homeschooling journey always included Bible class/curriculum.
Bedtime often included the playing of the cassette tape, Hide ‘Em in Your Heart by Steve Green.
Awana was part of my, my brothers and my children’s lives as well.
To this day, I still remember the Bible memorization songs I learned from Steve Green’s cassettes and my Awana books.
Throughout my children’s homeschooling journeys we’ve incorporated Bible memory through Sunday School, Children’s Church, Awana, copywork, and notebooking through nearly every subject.
I believe that God’s Word is the most important resource to use with our children.
As parents, it is our responsibility to teach and train our children how to keep God and His Word a priority throughout their lives.
They need to know not only the importance of reading it but need to be taught how to apply and memorize it.
There will be times in our children’s lives when they will need God’s Word and a Bible won’t be readily available.
By taking the time to memorize God’s Word with your children, you’ll be impacting both your lives today and tomorrow.
