Sometimes things just stop working, this is so true for homeschooling! One day everyone is enjoying the homeschool schedule, curriculum and activities, next thing you know someone (or everyone – including mom!) is dreading school time.
This is what happen to us last year. We were in our 7th year of homeschooling and every day it was a struggle to get myself and my kids motivated. We all had reached the place of, just get the school work done. There was no joy in learning and no interest in the lessons laid before us.

I decided we needed to take some time off and I needed to take a long hard look at what was wrong with our homeschool. How could we have just stopped enjoying learning? I finally discovered what was wrong. Our homeschool method wasn’t working anymore. The way my children had loved learning and the way I longed to teach had changed.
