Aside from cruises, road trips are my favorite way to vacation. From stops along the way to your destination to the ability to explore the area you’re staying in, road trips are the way to go in my opinion.

My kids have been able to see almost every state on the east coast and much of the west coast thanks to our road trip vacations.

From the time my children were little, I had them involved with planning our road trip vacations back home. They started out by helping to pack their clothes.

As they grew up, they graduated to learning how to research places they wanted to see along the way and help plan the financial side of the vacation.

I believe that children learn best by getting to experience what they’re being taught. By including my children in planning our road trip vacations since they were little, they now can prepare for and plan an entire vacation by themselves.

It is never too late to teach your kids anything. So, if you’ve never included your kids in planning a vacation, that is ok. There is still time.

Planning a vacation together with your children can be a special family time. Something that you enjoy doing together.

Not sure how to get your kids started planning a vacation? That’s ok!

Whether you’re planning a summer vacation getaway or you’re taking advantage of being a year round homeschooler and saving money by traveling another time of the year, I’ve got it covered!

Inside this vacation planner for kids, you’ll find budgeting activities, packing checklists, planning pages, geography and history challenges and much more!
