Whether you teach your children fractions, how I did or not, this Fractions Math Pack is a great resource for your children to learn fractions.

Math has never been a subject I enjoyed learning or teaching. However, teaching my son fractions was one of the things I know that I did absolutely right.
Looking back, I’m thankful that I followed my “mom gut” and did what I needed to do to teach my children fractions.
Sometimes we get so stuck in the “right way” to do things or doing what others say that we forget that, as moms, we know our children best.
The curriculum may not have the best directions for our children. However, we can use the tool and adapt it to meet our children’s needs.
I didn’t teach my children math after middle school; that is the one subject that I willingly handed over because I’m simply not a mathematician.
However, I am thankful that I have the memories of teaching my children fractions because it reminds me that both my children and I are able to do hard things and excel.
If math is your gig, that’s awesome! If you would rather wash dishes and fold laundry all day than teach another math lesson, that’s 100% ok — you’re my people! 🙂
Just remember, math is something that your children will need for the rest of their lives – no matter what they do “when they grow up”.
If you’re not strong in math, like me, don’t be afraid to look into math curriculum options that can teach your kids for you. It does not make you a failure as a homeschool mom; no one, public, private or homeschool, can teach every single subject perfectly. It’s just not possible.
Starting with the correct foundation, children will learn with understanding — and they will ENJOY math!
With Math Mammoth, students will be set up for success in algebra and in real life!
