Get ready to explore ‘The Sunflower State’ without leaving home with these Kansas Virtual Field Trips!

My husband and I drove through the state of Kansas on our first empty nest road trip. It was everything that I expected from my limited knowledge of the Midwest.
Fields and plains. Wide open spaces. Sky as far as the eye could see. It was beautiful.
Unfortunately, we traveled through in the springtime, so I didn’t get to see sunflowers in bloom. One day, I will return to rectify this since they are my favorite flowers.
We didn’t have time to stop and explore as we were on a time crunch to get back to our family business, so I greatly enjoyed putting together to see what I was unable to in person!
