Valentine’s Day is a fun holiday to incorporate into your homeschool. It provides great opportunities to teach your children how important it is to show others that you love them.
I always try to encourage my kids to think of simple ways to show they care. Elaborate gifts don’t always speak to the heart.
Teaching our children how to recognize the love languages of those closest to them is a great activity for Valentine’s Day. Try having your children figure out which of your family members respond best to words of affirmation, actions, quality time and physical touch.
After they’ve discovered their loved ones’ love languages, have them practice their handwriting using this fun pack before creating ‘I love you because…’ notes for their loved ones.
