These first day of fall journal pages are a fun way to celebrate the new season of autumn each year.
Fall. I have a love/hate relationship with the season.
The crisp mornings, clear starry night skies and beautiful colors are all things I enjoy tremendously about fall.
However, the coming of the fall season each year requires me to bid adieu to the season I love most…summer.
Over the years I’ve learned to embrace the quieter days of fall. For me, they allow for more reading which is always a bonus!
For most homeschoolers, the first day of fall is between 2-3 weeks of the start of a new homeschool year.
It can be easy to get caught up in the need to stay on track, keep a schedule and not fall behind. After all, you are responsible for your child’s education.
Yet, the truth is that what our children learn from day-to-day life is often more important than what is found inside of textbooks/curricula.
In the grand scheme of things, our children’s education and most importantly their future greatly benefits from more time to live life than sitting at a desk answering questions.
These First Day of Fall Journal Pages are a fun way to celebrate the new season. It is also the perfect time for a more relaxed homeschool day. Which is something you likely all need at this point! 🙂
