While you may not be able to visit ‘The Aloha State’ with your kids in person, there are many ways to explore the islands together using these Hawaii Virtual Field Trips!
Do you or your kids know what ‘Aloha’ means? The Hawaiian word is used as a greeting, much like Texans use the word ‘Howdy’.
Another important Hawaiian word to know is ‘Mahalo’. This is the Hawaiian way to say thank you and express gratitude.
The first virtual field trip I knew I wanted to find to share in Hawaii was the Pearl Harbor National Memorial. If I ever have the opportunity to visit Hawaii in person, this will be my first stop.
Along the way, I was excited to find amazing waterfalls, hiking opportunities, historical museums and so much more!
Thanks to today’s technology, we have the amazing ability to travel the world without leaving our homes. This is such a gift and I am thankful to have these opportunities.
Are you ready to travel and see the Hawaiian islands? I hope you have as much fun as I did!
