Prayer is a beautiful gift that God has given us. I know from personal experience just how much of an impact prayer can make on a person’s life.

While I’m not as faithful in praying for my children as I should be, I am striving to change that because I believe wholeheartedly that God answers prayer.

I am blessed to be surrounded by family that loves the Lord. It is no doubt thanks to their prayers, and God’s grace, that I am who I am and where I am today.

Surrounding our children in prayer is one of the greatest gifts that we can give them. They may not recognize our prayers as gifts or even know that we’re praying, but through prayer, God can move mountains.

The days of a mom are long, but the effects of prayers to the Lord for a child are even longer. It can seem like you don’t have any possible moments in a day to pray, but God promises that “the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” (James 5:16b)

I encourage you, as I’m encouraging myself, to take one moment each day to pray for each of your children. Doing so can change their lives.

You can record all of your prayers for each of your children’s spiritual life, future, education and more using this Homeschool Mom Prayer Journal

There are 3 different styled pages for each prayer inside. A set with a date and your child’s name, another set with date, your child’s name and answered prayer section and the final set without any identifying details.
