There are so many ways for us to teach our children to give back. Volunteer opportunities truly abound, even for the littlest ones in your home.

I love volunteering and cherish the memories I’ve made with kids by my side volunteering.

As parents, we have tremendous responsibilities with the little ones we’ve been blessed with.

Giving back to our communities and thus bettering the lives of others is by far one of the best ways to raise compassionate, caring children.

There are many benefits to tracking your children’s volunteer hours. Scouts, college and future employment opportunities are a few of the “professional” reasons for your children to volunteer.

In addition, your child’s personal growth — mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually — will likely be greatly impacted when they serve others.

What is the best way to encourage your kids to want to volunteer? By getting out there and volunteering yourself. Our children are watching us and if we’re asking them to do something that we aren’t willing to do ourselves, what does that say about us?

To complete the simple pages inside this Volunteer Hours Tracker you’ll only need the location where your child volunteered, the tasks they completed while there and how many hours they served.
