This Nature Journaling Challenge is a great way to encourage the curious minds of your kids to get outside and explore the world around them!
In our early homeschooling years, I was terrified to stray away from lesson plans, schedules and textbooks.
Thankfully, I learned fairly quickly, that not only did my children not enjoy that type of lifestyle but that they also did not learn that way.
Throughout our homeschool years, we spent more and more time outside than inside.
Whether we took our curriculum outdoors or just spent time learning about the great outdoors, we lived outside more than in.
If you’re just discovering a love for the great outdoors and striving to embrace a more relaxed homeschool life, I encourage you to consider nature journaling.
There are many benefits to it, getting started is easier than you might think, it is an extremely frugal activity and it can be done year round!
This challenge is a great way to try it out and if you don’t have a journal for your kids to use right now, I have a printable one here.
