While snow and winter aren’t two of my favorite things, I have learned to appreciate and find the beauty in them both.

The winter season is a beautiful time of year. No matter where you are.

In the North Woods of Maine, we typically have our first snow before Thanksgiving. The last snowfall usually occurs during the first week of May.

Back home, in Texas, the winter season doesn’t often include snow. This means you can still go to the beach and stick your toes in the sand at Christmastime.

Whether your family enjoys the “normal” winter season or you decorate palm trees with lights, this snow challenge is full of fun wintertime activities that the entire family can enjoy.

Those of you in warmer climates might need to improvise with a few of the activities. However, thinking outside of the box is a must for every homeschool mom, so I’m certain you’ll do just fine.
