Every single homeschool mom needs support throughout her family’s homeschooling journey. This calling, to raise our children and educate them in our homes, is both a tremendous blessing and a challenge at times.

As with everything in life, a homeschooling journey will have its ups and downs, good and bad days. It is easy to love homeschooling your little blessings in the ups and on the good days, but the downs and bad days can be a struggle.

There is no set break time for a homeschool mom. No taking a sick day or just not showing up because you need a day off.

While we can’t treat homeschooling our children like we would employment, homeschool moms do need to find ways to take care of themselves.

Sometimes that may mean putting the books away for the day, heading out on a field trip to get outside of the four walls of your home or even just watching movies and eating popcorn with your kids to refresh and renew everyone’s spirit.

Remember, in order to take care of those you love most, you have to take care of yourself, too. You can’t give others what you don’t have yourself.

I pray that these free homeschool encouragement resources are a blessing to you in the midst of your challenging times as a homeschool mom.
